A little about me,... Clive Richards

This website is a compilation of art, photography, and a few projects that I've done over the past several years. It is meant to be enjoyed by family and friends and also to be a resume of sorts for future collaborations.

I am self taught through my own efforts and the observation of great works by others. The learning never ends. 

Although I have used the term artist or photographer to describe myself on occasion, I am really just a person whom is very passionate about the creative process. I enjoy the adventure of creative discovery through a diverse range of materials, experiences and interactions.

I was born in London England in 1961. Before the age of two, my family moved to Canada and I grew up on the west coast of British Columbia, instilling in me a connection with nature that has never left. I lived in Los Angeles California for most of my adult life and spent 3 years on Maui. Presently, I am lucky enough to be living at the sea shore in one of the most beautiful places I have ever experienced, Qualicum Beach Vancouver Island, B.C., Canada. Here it is not hard to feel a direct connection with nature. Waking up to the sound of the ocean caressing the naturally sorted rocky shore, the eagles voice assuring you of their watchful presence, and the ocean birds and seals welcoming the new day with gatherings, feedings and dance. In the distance, Islands of varying wonderful shades and shapes float in the early day mist, shadowed by majestic snow capped peaks seemingly touching the morning sky. It is,... truly Amazing!!

In 2013 I hope to travel to India, Italy, France and the United Kingdom to further inspire and expand my connection with this amazing planet and its people, continuing my life long creative adventure.
